Tribute to Phyllis Clark

Phyllis Clark was born in Chicopee, Massachusetts. She received a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Med and Biology from the University of New Hampshire. She also attended St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY where she received her certificate to teach art in New York and adjacent states

Phyllis always had an avid interest in art, but was only an “occasional” painter in the early years. Many years were spent teaching and raising a family of four with her husband Russ in East Washington, New Hampshire.

It is only in recent years that she was been able to actively pursue her love of art and  painting with the Lone Mountain Artists.

We were fortunate to have Phyllis as a member of the Lone Mountain Artists. She was an active participant in classes and exhibits. She passed away in 2015 and is sorely missed. Phyllis lived life to the fullest and was a great source of joy, laughter and inspiration to all of us.

Her creative talent, sense of humor and pluckiness are greatly missed.
